Maple Syrup Pie

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 60 minutes

Serves: 6

Ingredients

Pastry Shell (9-inch) – 1 ea

Light Brown sugar – 1 ½ cup

Large Eggs – 2 ea

Heavy Cream – ½ cup

Dark Amber Pure Maple Syrup – 1/3 cup

Unsalted Butter (melted) – 2 tblsp

How To Make it

  

  1. Pre heat oven to 350F
  2. Whisk together brown sugar and eggs until creamy.
  3. Add the cream, syrup and butter, then whisk until smooth. Pour the filling into the pie shell.
  4. Bake the pie until the pastry turns golden and the filling is puffed up, but trembles – approx one hour. 
  5. Cool down to room temperature. Cut into 6 pieces and serve with Vanilla Ice cream.
